Mary was born on 13 Nov 1907 to William A. Epling and Alice F. Bean., in Waiteville, Monroe County, West Virginia. She was the fifth of seven children born to the couple [only 2 lived to adulthood].

Little Mary was only 8 weeks old when she died on 11 Jan 1908. Her stone is shared with four other siblings.

Mary Thompkins Thurmond was born 12 November 1824 to Phillip Thurmond III and Mary Thompkins Hill, we believe she was born in Amherst County, Virginia.

Mary married William Lawson Duncan [1821-1906] on 02 Dec 1863 in Amherst, Amherst County, Virginia.

It is unknown if there were any issue.

Mary died 28 May 1903.

Nancy Alice Lafon was born 19 Oct 1860 to William Harrison Lafon and Nancy Kelly, in Giles County, Virginia. She was one of at least 9 children born to the couple.

She wed Charles Oliver Doss [b. 1862 Roanoke Co., VA] on 20 Dec 1881 in Monroe County. It is unknown if there were any issue at this time.

She died 03 Aug 1899 in Monroe County. Cause of death: "Stomach Trouble".

Nanie Bush Doss was born 15 Sep 1876 to George Washington Doss and Arabella Steele [Arabella was the daughter of Thomas Steele and martha Caroline Bean], in Monroe County, West Virginia. She was the eldest of six children born to the couple.

Nanie married Bern H. McCormick [details unknown]. It is unknown if there were any issue.

Nanie died 24 Nov 1929.
