This blog will provide information about cemeteries and graveyards in both Monroe and Greenbrier Counties in West Virginia.

Our Mission

Our mission is to log locale's and photographs of as many graves and cemeteries as possible within Monroe and Greenbrier Counties.

We are a one-woman team, so progress may be slow, and will take place as weather permits. If you know of a cemetery or graveyard that you would like to see showcased here, please let us know.

The Old Rehobeth Church Cemetery

The Old Rehobeth Church lies on Route 3 just east of Union in Monroe County. The church is the oldest church west of the Alleghany Divide.

Historical marker located on Route 3.

In order to reach the church, you must turn north on the road marked by the above historical marker. The lane leading to the church is approximately 1/4 mile long. It leads to the church and also to the Old Rehobeth Museum.

Probably the most photographed view of the Old Rehobeth Church, standing east above the church on the knoll.

The Old Rehobeth Church facing the south end of the church.

More views of the church tomorrow.
