Blanche Eunice Hedrick was born 05 Apr 1890 at Fort Springs, Greenbrier, WV to George Harvey Hedrick and Nancy Emma Shepherd.

She died 14 Jun 1976 at Denmar State Hospital, Denmar, Pocahontas, WV.

Catherine Parkins was born 26 Dec 1826 in Greenbrier County, [West] Virginia to Rev. Samuel Parkins and his wife Elizabeth Tuckwiller. She was one of at least nince children born to the couple.

She married William George Shepherd [1824-1908] at Ft Springs on 10 Jun 1852. The couple had eight children: Virginia, James, Barbara, Martha, Nancy, Alma, Almirinda, and Ernest.

Catherine died 02 Aug 1902 at Fort Springs.
